Pictured left is Head Chef, John Kelly with Alex Polizzi the Hotel Inspector from Channel 5's popular series of the same name. Alex was in the area recently filming for her  next series of the Hotel Inspector when she and her film crew paid the Villa a visit. "The food was absolutely  delicious" said Alex to John after her meal. The Villa restaurant and the Applegarth would like to thank Alex and her crew for the kindness they showed towards other diners and guests and for spending time with those present who were keen fans of the Hotel Inspector programme.

Alex came back to stay with us a couple of weeks later and she had apparently been dreaming about tasting John's Venison again.
