just take our word for it . . .
Hotel Critic, Paddy Burt, described her stay at the
Applegarth Hotel & JR's Restaurant in the Daily
Telegraph as follows:
“This is a warm, embracing sort of place”
“The menu's long – seven starters, eight
main courses, five puddings plus cheese and ice creams.
How do they do it?”
“For pudding, I can't resist the warm lemon
and lime tart with home-made Cinder Toffee ice cream.
I'm a pudding person and this is really good.”
“We will be full, after all this. Except we’re
not! They’ve got the portions just right.” |
