From the North or South, leave the M6 motorway at junction 36 and take the A591 signposted towards Windermere.

After about 4 miles you will come to a large roundabout, simply head straight on, again signposted towards Windermere.

After about 8 miles you will come into Windermere.

Turn left into Elleray Road, which is just after the National Westminster Bank, then take the first right into College Road.

You will find the Applegarth Hotel & JR's Restaurant about 50 yards along College Road on the right hand side. We have a private car park available at the rear of the building.
